Essence of Place: Fairy Pools, Isle of Skye, Scotland

An essence of place is like a flower essence but is more about the land the water was taken from.  Scotland is pouring with water. This essence of place is from the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye.  Legand has it that the local farmer was helped by fairies to harvest his grain hundreds of years ago.  The pools became signifant to fairies as it is on the land of that farmer and has long been associated with the fae.
 
The day I visited the pools it was perfectly idealic and very Scotland.  The clouds were low,  the mist was heavy and the wind was strong.  It was magical.  I could feel it.  It was palpable.  I knew I was beholding something special.
 
Use this essence to call in the fae, honor the fae, manifest your dreams of travel or more specifially travel to Scotland--or however you like.  A drop in water or the bath can help honor and manifest in ways you desire.
