Essence of Place: Red Spring, Glastonbury

An essence of place is like a flower essence but is more about the land the water was taken from.  This essence of place is from the Red Spring in Glastonbury.
The red and white springs of Glastonbury are located just next to each other on the way up a hill at the base of the Tor.  The red spring is very feminine and is filled with iron. People fill up bottles at the spout pictured and drink it. I collected water at this same spout for this essence.  
Use this essence when you are working with your animus/anima, the Divine Feminine, to connect with this spirit of place.  Add a few drops to your water or the bath. Let the vibration of place do the rest. 
 
Essences work on a vibrational level where as tinctures work on a more physical level. It only takes 2 or 3 flowers to make an essence as each flower’s energetic power is quite strong.
