Essence of Place: White Spring, Glastonbury

An essence of place is like a flower essence but is more about the land the water was taken from.  In my travels, I wanted to bring back a little bit of what I witnessed.  This essence of place is from the White Spring in Glastonbury.
Before I went a friend explained that she, and a lot of people, thought of the white spring as the more masculine energy and the red as the more feminine.  I went in with that in my mind.
 
Visiting the White Spring was the lost magical experience I had in Glastonbury.  I went with a friend who bought us candles to light at the various alters. There were alters in this dark cool cave like space to Mother Earth, Gwyn Ap Nudd and Bridgit.
I spent time with Gwyn Ap Nudd, who is the fairy king and lives in a glass castle beneath the Tor (the tor is pictured).  My friend began to beautifully hum and it felt like a religious experience. 
We also spent time with Bridget at her alter. I definitely felt a creative shift in my belly. It was all pure magic. And I would say, though the white spring has a masculine energy, I felt very female and very powerful in it’s presence.
Use this essence to work with Mother Earth, Gwyn Ap Nudd, Bridget, your cauldron belly fire, the fae or your inner animus/anima.  I collected this water from the free flowing spout of spring water open to everyone outside the building.
Essences work on a vibrational level where as tinctures work on a more physical level. It only takes 2 or 3 flowers to make an essence as each flower’s energetic power is quite strong.
